A Harrisonburg District Court set a court date for city Treasurer Rebecca Neal Thursday morning.
Neal will appear at 9 a.m. on August 4, 2008 to face charges of misusing $91,000 of the city's money.
Commonwealth's Attorney Marsha Garst estimates the trial to take one week because of extensive evidence having to do with forensic accounting. Garst says the case involves a long paper trail.
Neal faces a 20 count indictment, which includes eight felony counts of misuse of public money and 12 counts of altering a deposit. Neal claims her innocence on all charges.
