Despite talk of filing a petition to oust Harrisonburg City Treasurer Rebecca Neal Friday, it didn't happen.
City council member Carolyn Frank was going to file the petition in court Friday morning, but she didn't have all of the signatures on hand to turn it in.
Neal was indicted in February on 20 charges, which include defrauding city taxpayers.
Even after the petition is filed, it's still up to a judge to decide whether or not to remove her from office.
