After the Sheriff's Office in Shenandoah County busted a business for allegedly selling bath salts.
The RUSH Drug Task force said synthetic drugs are still on its radar.
Investigators said most of the businesses selling them have been caught.
Mark Campbell said Virginia's legislation has also made more chemicals illegal, helping them catch more dealers.
People are still finding ways to get the drugs.
"You're talking U.S. postal service, Fed Ex, which they have nothing to do with that other that the
people are using those to ship those things around and of course, they're available in the Internet, you can ship them anywhere in the world," Campbell said.
Campbell went on to say the synthetic drugs sold in stores are almost gone.
