There are many proud moms and dads in the town of Bridgewater as Bridgewater College held its commencement ceremony Sunday.

Nearly 400 seniors received their degrees. The Hon. Frank J. Williams, chief justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court, delivered the commencement address, just as the rain started to fall.

"If the past is prologue for what the future holds for you graduates, you will develop into great leaders on the soil of the Shenandoah Valley, and your lives will be forever marked by great victories," says Williams.

This year marked the 128th anniversary of Bridgewater College's founding.
