The trial of a Luray-area pastor, accused of armed robbery, is continued.

Hobert Wayne Bryant, 55, is charged with robbing a Dollar General store in Woodstock on May 8.

He is also charged with using a firearm during the commission of a felony and eluding police.

Employees described the man and his car, a white Ford Taurus, to Woodstock Police. Law enforcement later stopped Bryant in the same car and found cash and two guns inside the car.

Bryant was the pastor of Rocky Branch Baptist Church. He is scheduled to be in Shenandoah County court on July 21.

Pretty sad - what is the world coming to. And a Dollar General Store! If you're going to commit armed robbery, go for the big money - it's the same penalty.
