*** A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Highland County in Virginia and Pendleton and Western Grant counties in West Virginia through 1 a.m. Friday. Two to four inches of snow is expected on favored western slopes overnight with more accumulation Thursday. A Wind Advisory has also been issued for Highland, Augusta, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Page and Warren counties in Virginia and Pendleton, Hardy and Grant counties in West Virginia until 5 a.m. Thursday. Winds are expected to be between 15 and 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph possible, especially in higher terrains. Driving may be difficult under these conditions. ***

The Augusta County Sheriff's office is investigating a theft at a car dealership. Deputies report that a plasma TV, worth $1,500, was stolen from the showroom of Staunton Nissan over the weekend. There were no signs of forced entry.

Also in Augusta County, there is a report of some stolen drugs on Friday. Deputies say someone took Oxycodone pills and Fentanyl patches from the Briarwood One Apartments in Fishersville. They say the door of the apartment was left unlocked.

Harrisonburg Police are dealing with several arrests related to drug use. Four people were arrested last week for unlawful possession of alcohol, and six were arrested for possessing an illegal drug.

In Rockingham County, the sheriff's office is reporting a break-in at a construction site in Penn Laird. The break-in happened at the corner of Spotswood Trail and Massanetta Springs Road Sunday night. The stolen items include two drills, a reciprocating saw, and a wrench set worth a total of $1,802.

In Shenandoah County, there is a report of a stolen vehicle that may be easy to spot, because of its license plate. The sheriff's office reports a 1991 blue Jeep Cherokee was stolen over the weekend. The license plate reads WHOOYOU.

Staunton Police are investigating a burglary at Valley Pawnbrokers on North Central Avenue that was reported Thursday. The burglar took an undisclosed amount of items.
