A Staunton woman who got up in the middle of the night may have thought she was seeing fireworks outside her window, but instead, she found a shed near the home fully engulfed in flames.
The hot flames even woke up neighbors who called the fire department.
It happened Friday in the 400 block of Sterling St. in Staunton and police say the shed and everything inside is a complete loss.
Clyde Davis, the homeowner, says he just bought a new tiller, which was inside the shed.
Estimated total damage is $2,000.
