It started out as a struggling race with no candidates. Now, the field is getting crowded.

Dan Bonner will vie for one of three seats open in this year's Staunton City School Board race. A nationally recognized broadcaster, Bonner is known locally as the former coach of the Robert E Lee girl's basketball team. His son Kerry graduated from Lee and was last year's student athlete of the year at WHSV. Bonner still needs to file his signatures by the March 7 deadline.
