Police are searching for three men they say are responsible for an armed robbery in Augusta County Thursday morning.
According to police, three men approached a trucker around 8:45 a.m. as he was fueling his truck at the Pilot Truck Stop in Greenville.
After taking $40 from the trucker, he says one of the men then put a gun to his side, and demanded he go inside to withdraw money from the ATM.
Augusta County Sheriff's Office Sgt. A.C. Powers says, "One guy came in with him milled around in the store, the other two stayed outside. Once he got the money out of the ATM and went back outside, they got the money from him and then they split in three directions."
Police say employees of the store were unaware of the robbery as it was taking place.
The trucker waited 30 minutes before calling police, which makes the search harder. However, they are now looking for three men in a green Cadillac with Ohio plates.
