It was fun, food, music, and wine as the Daylily and Wine Festival wrapped up Sunday. Visitors got a chance to taste wines from many award-winning Virginia wineries.

They also enjoyed live jazz music and a variety of food and snacks. The two-day event was held at the Andre Viette Farm and Nursery in Fishersville.

For many locals, it's a yearly tradition.

Fishersville resident, Janet Powers, says, "I've been here about three years in a row. It's a Fishersville tradition, and I enjoy it and I like the music."

The event raised money for the Valley Children's Center.
