The Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center is taking its services to the web. WWRC recently launched a YouTube channel filled with videos of services offered at the center.
Director Rick Sizemore says the goal for starting the YouTube channel is to reach more people across the country. He says it's not unusual for people to travel some distance to Woodrow Wilson for rehabilitation.
A majority of the center's clients range in age from 18 to 25, and Sizemore says this is a great way to reach them.
He adds, "This is how they find information. They Google, they get on the Net, they do get on Webpages, but they love the YouTube channel. And so this is an opportunity to reach them using the vehicle that they use most."
The YouTube videos have already received thousands of hits. The rehab center hopes to add more videos in the near future.
