Plans are moving ahead for a new housing development in Augusta County.
The county board of supervisors voted Wednesday night to approve the project, despite concerns from board member Tracy Pyles.
The plan calls for about 2,000 new homes to go up across from Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center.
It also calls for a new road to be built.
The developer, who is constructing the new road, will also receive about $3 million in reimbursements for the project.
