Crews say water has finally been restored to downtown Harrisonburg.
A water main burst around 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon on East Market Street in Harrisonburg.
A number of local businesses and restaurants had to close due to the lack of water.
The outage extended from Court Square to Broad Street.
Crews working on the water main break say Market Street, between Main and Federal, will not be re-opened until late next week.
