Charge Filed in Post Office Crash

Staunton Police have filed a charge against the driver of a Toyota that crashed into the post office on North Augusta Street Wednesday.
Police are charging 85-year-old Jenny White Knopp with failure to maintain proper control. There were no injuries in the crash.
Police say the damage to the post office will be about $25,000. They estimate the damage to Knopp's car at about $2,500.
Knopp is expected in traffic court in October.
