Harrisonburg Police arrest a man they say led them on a car chase, wrecked his car, and then took off on foot.
A black Mercedes, owned by the suspect, hit an embankment and crashed after leading police on a brief car chase through Liberty Square around midnight. The suspect took off running, leaving two passengers in the car.
One of the passengers was taken to Rockingham Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Police arrested the suspect Earl Legg, Jr. Saturday afternoon.
Legg faces felony hit and run and eluding. He is also charged with reckless driving and driving on a revoked license.

That's exactly right Frank, if they weren't doing anything wrong in the first place, there would be no reason to run! Start adding time, and fines, maybe they'll finally take a hint, enough is enough!
Time for a change in the law. Like I said before, IF YOU RUN FROM THE POLICE (CAR CHASE) IT SHOULD BE AN AUTOMATIC 10 YEARS FOR THAT OFFENCE. 'nuff said!!!
