A water pipe break on the fourth floor at 14 Newman Avenue in Harrisonburg has caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage.

At Quillen Optical, employees showed up Monday morning to at least a foot of water. They, along with several other businesses have been closed all week. Quillen hopes the city will allow them to set up a new location close by.

"As a possible temporary location is putting up a small trailer on the parking lot behind the store," said Paul Quillen, owner. "We'll probably be out of this location for about a month."

Quillen hopes to have his temporary location set up next week. He's doing his best to operate out of the flooded building now by taking names and prescriptions.
