I have visited the beach numerous times with 4 children and as long as you keep a constant eye on your child jsut like in any pool/water or sea I feel the beach is safe, there are life guards but it is your responsibility in the end to watch your child and keep them safe, my thoughts and prayers do go out to the parents,
