Ever since a murder took place, police have kept one man in custody as the main suspect for it.

Jermaine Montgomery has been in the spotlight since the July 3 abduction and stabbing death of delivery driver Yong Hui Zhang in Fredericksburg.

Zhang had been on a routine delivery to a home when police say he was attacked by Montgomery.

On Monday, a Spotsylvania County Grand Jury indicted Montgomery on capital murder charges as well as on other charges.

Another suspect in the murder is Montgomery's girlfriend, Marcey White.

Commonwealth's Attorney Bill Neel says, "It was a vicious brutal attack. The victim was beaten repeatedly with a pipe, stabbed. I did talk to the family, told them what we intend to do and they seemed satisfied.

White is said to have made a plea deal with authorities and has provided evidence in the investigation.
