Republicans are re-energized in the Valley thanks to the grand opening of a new GOP headquarters in Harrisonburg.
Several Republican leaders, including Congressman Bob Goodlatte and the Rockingham County Chairman, Mike Meredith, spent Friday afternoon together at the new headquarters.
They talked about John McCain's acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention and also about the convention re-energizing the party.
Goodlatte says Virginia is energized and will play a very important role this year in the presidential election.
