At first officials thought it was a suicide, but now the FBI says it's a homicide.

Wednesday morning, Frederick County deputies responded to an apparent suicide, but the FBI stepped in and says otherwise.

It happened on Dowell J Circle, near a school.

The victim, 28-year-old Heriberto Gonzalez-Tarango of Frederick County, was found dead from gunshot wounds in a second floor apartment.

Maj. Eckman says, "Like I said, any death case you look at, you have to look at the most serious, then work your way all the way down so you can get all of your facts. We are labeling it a homicide right now until we work our way down."

The Frederick County Sheriff's Office has not made any arrests and there is no word on any suspects.

On "Two convicted for Moonshine Operation". Franklin Co. Virginia is well known for it's moonshine. What would a bluegrass festival be like if you took away all the moonshine. These two go together. I don't think of this as much of a crime.
