According to AAA, the average price of self-serve regular gallon of gas is $3.51. In Harrisonburg, prices hit $3.39 as of Sunday morning. In Waynesboro, prices got down to $3.34.
This is still not enough for many people and it isn't easing the mind of one local, who says gas needs to drop below $2.
Ray Guthrie builds homes. He says the banks are not loaning money to home buyers. For the market to be stimulated again, the fuel prices should fall below the $2 mark.
