Though no official statement has been made, it appears that two popular big box stores will anchor the new shopping center at the old outlet village in Waynesboro.
As our partners at The Newsleader report, Target and Kohl's will be the main stores to come in.
This information was gained from the site plan.
Wednesday the developer of the center, Collett and Associates, said that they were not in a position to confirm or deny that these stores were coming in but did go on to say that the names of some of the new businesses may have been on the site plan.
Collett and Associates is supposed to finalize the acquisition of the property by the end of the month and then begin demolition.
They said that the first tenants, which at this time looks like Target and Kohl's, will be open by fall 2007.
