A man who was hit by a car and flew through the windshield Friday morning is doing just fine.

State Police got a call from a driver in the 14000 block of Spotswood Trail. He told police he hit a biker who crashed through the windshield of his Ford Focus, got up and walked away from the accident.

Police later tracked down the biker, Randy A. Lee of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. Lee refused to see a doctor and told police he was fine.

No charges have been filed. Alcohol was not a factor on the part of either the driver or the victim.
