Two Guilty of Inspection Sticker Misuse

Two area men will pay hundreds of dollars in fines after being found guilty of misusing state inspection stickers on taxis.

In September, the Virginia State Police charged Musa Syed and Dorsey Collett with the crime.

Collett was an employee at Hussey's Automotive in Bridgewater and Syed worked at ABC Cab in Harrisonburg.

Collett sold 16 vehicle inspection stickers to Syed for the company's cabs.

Managers at Hussey's contacted police when they noticed 11 stickers were issued for cabs they never saw in their shop.

Thursday, both men were found guilty and will each pay close to $600 in fines.
