One church in the Valley is going to have a harder time singing praises this Christmas because of a burglary. Rockingham County Sheriff's Deputies say someone broke into the Cornerstone Church just north of Harrisonburg Sunday night. Once inside, deputies say the thief stole two keyboards and a bass guitar, worth a total of nearly $5,000.

Waynesboro Police report that a Chevrolet Silverado crew cab truck was stolen from R&M Automotive on Tuesday night. The truck was later found wrecked in Augusta County.

Harrisonburg Police are reporting two cases of construction thefts during the past week. Some tools were taken from Acorn Drive and electronics were stolen from Mount Clinton Pike.

The Augusta County Sheriff's Office reports that $500 was stolen from the glove compartment of a truck in Verona over the weekend. The truck had been left unlocked.

Staunton Police are reporting a vandalism spree on Alleghany Avenue Monday night. Two vehicles had their windows broken, causing a total of $800 in damage.

Shenandoah County Sheriff's Deputies say they were able to solve a hit and run because of what the driver left behind. The driver allegedly plowed over a fence in Fort Valley last month, but his license plate fell off during the accident. Deputies traced the license plate to John Creekmore Jr. from Front Royal. Creekmore is now charged with causing the damage.

There is some positive holiday news. Two wooden reindeer lawn ornaments that were reported stolen in last week's Crime Where You Live segment, have been recovered and returned undamaged to their owner in Toms Brook.

If you can help police solve any of these other crimes, please give them a call.
