One of the men convicted of raping a disabled elderly woman in Shenandoah County learned his fate Wednesday.
Thomas Neil Elliot III was sentenced to seven years behind bars.
The 37 year old was found guilty in August of raping a woman at the Shenandoah Valley Village Assisted Living Center.
In court, Elliot talked about drinking alcohol before he assaulted the woman.
Another man who was also accused in the incident, Zackary Acome, will be sentenced later this month.
