These are uncertain times for our nations workforce and college students with limited work experience need every advantage they can get.
An online job resource, called The Wizard, was unveiled at Blue Ridge Community College Tuesday.
The Wizard analyzes a large variety of personal data and matches a person's interests with the most available job in any given region.
College officials say education is key for when the recession lifts.
"In recessions, there is no better time to get back into a training or post secondary education program. We're going to come out of this, we always have. And when we do come out, the good paying jobs will go to where the talent is, now anywhere in the world. So I think it's extremely important that people develop their skills," says BRCC Chancellor Glenn Dubois.
