The switch from analog to digital broadcasting has not been an easy one. More than a million viewers were unprepared, and some stations were kicked off the air completely.

The Federal Communications Commission is working to make sure all problems are solved, and a representative was in the Valley to offer help Saturday.

A day after the long-awaited switch to digital, Priya Shrinivasan from the FCC is still answering questions, helping viewers outside the Radio Shack in the Valley Mall.

"I haven't you know had any questions about getting a box. Most people seem to have the box, it's just a matter of now what do I do," says Shrinivasan.

Suggesting re-scans and adjusting the antenna to the few who came out Saturday, Shrinivasan says she wasn't expecting a huge turn out, as many took the steps to prepare for the switch.

Inside Radio Shack, Manager David Shifflett helps customers with snowy TVs. He says business has picked up a bit.

When asked how many people he's seen since the switch, Shifflett replies, "It's dropped off a little, but it's picked up a lot recently. People realized they needed to the boxes to see the station."

"I was hoping that everybody got the word and everybody was prepared so the transition would go smoothly," says Shrinivasan.

Saturday was the last day reps from the FCC would be out answering questions. However, there are still resources available for help.
