The Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and Museum is wrapping up its three-day Children's Camp.
Little campers, dressed in costumes from different countries, enjoyed hands-on activities, learning about countries that were part of the League of Nations that formed in 1919.
They used their imaginations and traveled to different countries with their passports.
The children also shared presentations about their assigned countries and brought in items from around the world.
Eight-year-old Brianna Hepler represented England and shared facts about the country. She says she has learned a lot and is having a great time with her new friends.
High school student and volunteer, Nicole Alanko, is helping out because she was too old to attend the children's camp when she moved to Staunton.
She says, "So many people say history is so boring, it's just dates and numbers, but this really brings history and cultures alive, and let's them see what it really is."
