A trike rally is underway at the Rockingham County Fair Grounds, but these trikes aren't the little red ones with tassels on the handle bars.
These trikes have big engines, modified parts and some are decorated with skulls. More than 80 three-wheeled motorcycles are in Harrisonburg for the fourth annual Brothers of the Third Wheel trike rally. They'll be in town through Sunday.
They will also take part in the Valleys Fourth parade in downtown Harrisonburg Saturday.
Some of the trike riders come from as far as New York, and many are local.
"You see a lot of bikes on the road, with two wheels, and they say I'll never ride a trike. Most everybody here at one time was a bike rider. But once you ride a trike, you'll always stay on a trike, because it is a world of difference," says Bobby Holmes, trike rider from New Hope.
If you miss them at the parade, check them out at the "Trike and Bike Show" at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the fairgrounds.

This was the 4th year I attended the Trike-In and by far the best. I'd like to thank the people of Harrisonburg for being so kind to us. For me the best part of the weekend was the honor of being invited to particitate in your Forth of July Parade in downtown Harrisonburg. Again, thank you for having us.
