State Police Investigate Rockingham County Hit-and-Run
Rockingham County State police are investigating a hit-and-run that happened around noon Friday on the 1400 block of River Road in Rockingham County.

State police are investigating a hit-and-run that happened around noon Friday on the 1400 block of River Road in Rockingham County.
A car ran off the road and hit a telephone pole. The female driver ran away before police arrived.
The woman's passenger, Patrick Jackson Jr., received injuries to the head and was taken to Rockingham Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police are now searching for a white female in her mid to late 20s. A witness describes her as around five-foot-three-inches to five-foot-five-inches tall with a thin build and Blond hair.
Her name may be "Becca" and she may have injuries to her face
The woman was driving a 1993 Ford Crown Victoria at the time of the accident.
