To celebrate the birth of America, thousands of people came out to watch the Harrisonburg parade and camp out for the fireworks.

OK per census of July 2008 the population of Rockingham County AND Harrisonburg was 118,409. Add in all the illegals and I think you'd still be hard pressed to have had "hundreds of thousands" of people. But hey...Harrisonburg is a growing community.

Was there really hundreds of thousands?? We don't get that many for the Christmas Parade.
