You people who are mad about MJ coverage need to get a grip. Millions of websites WORLDWIDE crashed. This man was loved across the planet. And so quickly we do forget his impact. MJ broke color barriers and united people of different races and cultures through his music. Go to Japan, Zimbabwe, Mexico, Australia... Farrah Fawcett didn't touch as many people that's y she didn't get as much coverage. Aside from that, he was a HUGE humanitarian. N the guiness world records for donations to charities, as they said in memorial yesterday. Ever heard of LIVE AID... wouldn't exist without MJ! So get over it and if you don't want to watch it don't, but don't be mad at his billions of fans who want to celebrate his life... i can't stand haters!

Its no that people don't care about Michael Jackson's death or Farrah. I personally am not going to sit here and cry and morn over someone I did not know on a personal level. Just let the man die in peace, let his family and his friends the ones who truly knew him as a person have this time to themselves for their grief.

It's interesting how the world gave him nothing but grief while he was alive, yet in death everyone in the media loves him and has nothing but praise for his life and contribution to the realm of music. Nevermind that they've all torn him to shreds for the past 2 decades. It seems the hypocrisy of the human race is limitless. That's why I didn't watch. Why should I care about what these people have to say about him now that he's dead, when they couldn't say a (public) kind word for him while he lived?

How quickly we forget our idols around here. I wanted to see it, this, like President Obamas Inauguration, is a moment in history. I was 7 years old when Elvis died, I thought we had lost a family my mom cried so much. MJ was around in my moms generation, most def mine (I grew up with Thriller) and he's been around in my duaghter's generation. Who else can say that? He had his problems, but who wouldn't with all the attention? He was still a talent who left too soon. How can we not be interested? We made him what he was.

really, why should I care? its not like he did anything all that special, O.J. was innocent too but we wont celebrate his life

It really is sad that some people don't even care that one of the greatest performers of all time has died. They are still holding that trial against him, and according to the U.S. constituion, they are INNOCENT until proven guilty.
