More information is coming out about the death of Berryville Town Council member Gail Smith.
Police say she told her friends that she "feared for her well-being" just days before her body was found.
This information comes from a search warrant submitted to the Clake County Circuit Court.
The warrant says Smith stated that a person came to her home unannounced the week before her death.
Officials interviewed that person, who denied any recent contact with Smith.
Police filed a request to get access to Smith's cell phone records, her computer and e-mail account.
They also obtained a search warrant for cell phone records of an unnamed person.
Smith's body was found in her house in Berryville July 30.
The search warrant states there was no sign of struggle or forced entry at her home.
