A murder trial is underway in Shenandoah County for a man accused of killing his daughter's boyfriend.
Jody Bradley faces life in prison if convicted on a first degree murder charge.
He's is accused of shooting and killing Brendon Barker
A jury of ten women and two men are tasked with deciding if Bradley committed murder when Barker was killed.
The defense says it's not disputing that Bradley was the one who pulled the trigger.
Instead, it's arguing he was shooting an intruder and points out the fact that deputies had been called to the home at least six times when Barker was allegedly trespassing.
The trial continued into Tuesday afternoon, but is expected to wrap up Wednesday.
