Agents from a number of law enforcement divisions met in Clarke County Thursday to discuss the investigation into the death of Berryville Town Council member Gail Smith.

Clarke County Sheriff Tony Roper says investigators are following up on leads that are heading in a definitive path in the investigation.

Smith was found dead in her Berryville home July 30 with a gunshot wound to the head.
