A spokesperson for Graham Packaging says a week-long closure of the Harrisonburg plant has been called off.
The plant was scheduled to close between September 23 and 29.
Now the company says the temporary work-stoppage would not be cost effective.
Since April 2008, more than 100 workers have been laid off from the Harrisonburg facility.
