The last of three memorial services was held Friday afternoon for the victims of a triple homicide in Mathias, West Virginia last week.
Hardy County investigators say Dennis Dale "Chip" Taylor, Allaina Taylor, and five-year-old Kaylee Grace Whetzel were murdered last Friday night.
Investigators have charged Taylor's ex-wife, Lorie Taylor, and her new husband, Nakia Keller, in the killings.
Chip worked for the Rockingham County Department of Fire and Rescue. Many emergency responders, family and friends paid tribute to him Friday.
Friends remember Chip for his kindness.
Several talked about the practical jokes he was notorious for playing.
People who knew him over the last two-and-a-half years say that time had been a struggle for him. Investigators in the murder case say he was in a bitter custody battle with his ex-wife.
Pastor Joel Robinette spoke to the crowd gathered at Cornerstone Church of Broadway. He urged people to try to not to let feelings of anger fester inside.
"And those feeling we have, there's nothing wrong with them. They're real. But, I feel if we hold onto those, anger and hatred, that can lead to suffering in us and suffering in others as well. But, with help of the Lord, counselors, sharing our feelings with family. There can come healing in God's grace," says Robinette.
Keller and Lorie are being held without bond at a West Virginia jail. They each face three counts of murder and one count of arson.
A memorial service was also held for Allaina in Mathias Friday morning.

This is great reporting. There was a GREAT article on Kaylee memorial service. There was an article on Chip obviously, who has had the most reporting done on him because he was suppose to be this great firefighter. But were is the article on Alliana's memorial service. She deserves it. I am really tired of all the stories on CHIP just because he was a firefighter. Allaina and Kaylee deserve just as much attention they were victims to.
