The Augusta-Staunton Health Department planned to give away 1,000 seasonal flu shots Friday at Augusta Health Center.
Adults could drive-thru and get a free vaccination as part of a drill to practice large-scale vaccination.
However, days ago the department announced the event would only be open to emergency personnel in the Valley.
On Friday, the health department was forced to cancel the event all together because they did not get enough of the vaccinations in on time.
They have not rescheduled the event at this time.
