Investigators say a third person may be involved in the triple murder case in Mathias, West Virginia.

According to "The Moorefield Examiner," investigators say charges "possibly" could be filed against this person.

The newspaper reports a girl referred to as "Jane" may have played a role.

During a hearing Thursday, Nakia Keller's defense attorney asked a West Virginia State Police sergeant, "To what level do you believe 'Jane' was involved?"

Sgt. Chris Siler replied, "...possibly as much as her mother and Keller."

Keller and Lorie Taylor each have been charged with three counts of murder and one count of arson.

Chip Taylor, Allaina Taylor, and five-year-old Kaylee Grace Whetzel died October 23.

Investigators say Lorie and Chip had been in a 'heated" custody battle over their three children. Investigators say the house in Mathias was set on fire to cover up the crime.

Ellen Miller knew Allaina for more than 20 years.

"I think we've all been trying to bring up good memories of her, talking about it," says Miller. "She painted half the walls in our house. Of course, I had done a lot of work with her. I took care of her father until he passed away."

Many people in Hardy County have been affected by this high-profile case. Now, they're hearing about a possible third suspect.

Heather Nesselrodt's kids used to play with Whetzel.

"The more we hear, I think the harder it becomes. You don't know what to believe. You don't want to believe [it]," says Nesselrodt. "The whole thing was such a devastation. Our community is so closely knit together. And, when something like this happens, it affects all of us. Not just at that moment, but for years to come."

Keller and Lorie are still being held in jail without bond.

A magistrate judge sent charges against Keller to a grand jury Thursday. A hearing for Lorie was rescheduled for November 12.

Are these evil freaks going to get off? Things are quite, and usually that means our wonderful judicial system has found a loop hole. My only since of comfort, is that I KNOW, GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF IT.

Tina~~ If my children grow up to be murderers or molesters or whatever, then YES, I feel it would be my fault.
