JMU Students Sell Art for First Time
Harrisonburg, Va. Some students at James Madison University sold some of their artwork for the first time Wednesday night.

Some students at James Madison University sold some of their artwork for the first time Wednesday night.
Students and faculty submitted artwork for the silent auction held at the Artworks Gallery.
Bidding began Monday night and closed Wednesday night.
A JMU senior actually sold a painting for the highest amount bid: $160.
In total, the auction brought in $1,251.
Students received half of what the piece sold for, and the rest went to the gallery.
