The Virginia Department of Labor and Industry is investigating a deadly crash in Timberville.
State police say 66-year-old Bonnie K. Dellinger was killed when a truck driver backed over her early Thursday morning. She worked at the Pilgrim's Pride in Timberville.
The crash happened in one of the plant's parking lots.
VDLI investigators have already been to the plant. They're trying to determine whether any safety or health violations occurred.
State police say the area where the crash happened was not well lit.
The labor department is required to complete its investigation within six months.
A Pilgrim's Pride spokesperson declined to comment further until the investigation is complete.
Virginia State Police say it is unlikely the driver, Eddie Campbell, will face any charges for the accident.
