The Harrisonburg Police Department is investigating an incident that occurred Sunday morning on the 1000 block of Port Republic Road in the city.

The Harrisonburg Police Department is investigating an incident that occurred Sunday morning on the 1000 block of Port Republic Road in the city.

Officials say a man reported that he was assaulted by three unknown white men around 3:30 a.m.

The victim was taken to Rockingham Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
