Two bank robbery suspects were arrested over the weekend.

Twenty-seven-year-old Garland Carr of Richmond was arrested Saturday for Tuesday's robbery at the downtown Charlottesville Wachovia Bank.

Carr is charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, entry of a bank with the intent to commit larceny and four counts of forgery. Police say he was caught on surveillance tape.

He is being held at the Albemarle/Charlottesville Regional Jail.

Also on Saturday, police arrested 32-year-old Joseph Breeden of Gordonsville for Friday's robbery at the BB&T bank on Pantops.
