Extremely foggy conditions Thursday caused some flights at the Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport to be delayed and even canceled.
A flight that was supposed to come in from Charlotte to the Weyers Cave airport Thursday morning had to be re-routed to the Charlottesville Airport later in the afternoon.
The conditions also stranded pilots for days, but they're glad they don't have to try to take off or land in the fog.
Steve Roberts, a pilot trying to leave the Shenandoah Regional Valley Airport, says, "It would be like trying to walk around or drive with a blindfold on. It would be pretty insane."
Small plane pilots continue to be delayed until conditions clear, which may not be until Friday or Saturday.
