Authorities in Spotsylvania County say a Danville man used the Internet to set up a sexual liaison with a 13-year-old girl, who turned out to be an undercover detective posing as a teenager online.

The Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office says Detective John Blankenship, posing as a 13-year-old girl, talked online for more than two weeks with Charles Douglas Garrett of Danville.

The Sheriff's Office says Garrett sent sexually explicit photos and suggested that the alleged teen take a bus to meet him in Danville.

Garrett was arrested Tuesday at the Danville bus station and was taken to Spotsylvania County. He's in jail with no bond and is charged with two counts of on-line solicitation and two counts of attempted indecent liberties.

It's really sad how nasty people really are and it's not only the men that are doing it, I am sure there are women out there too. They should be castrated!
