The Virginia couple accused of crashing a party at the White House is dealing with debt problems in the Commonwealth.

A judge in the Warren County General District Court grilled Tareq and Michaele Salahi Friday after they racked up thousands of dollars in debt.

Those debts still need to be paid.

Lawsuits claim the Salahis owe Winchester Electric $550. Mike Dunbar is also suing the socialites after they failed to pay him $900 dollars for lawn services.

The judge ordered the Salahis to surrender a watch valued at $325,000 to settle their debts.

Attorney J. Daniel Pond III says, "The Virginia Code allows this kind of procedure. If there's an item of value that would satisfy the debt, we're allowed to have the court take that and get value for it to pay the debt that he's owed."

The couple is known for the Oasis Winery, a family-owned winery in Fauquier County. However, the filed winery filed for bankruptcy in February.
