Woman Arrested After Augusta County Car Chase

A woman being investigated by authorities tried to run from police in her car.

According to Augusta County Sheriff's deputies, the chase started in Verona, went through Staunton and continued to the 1800 block of Red Top Orchard Road in Waynesboro, where the woman crashed and was ultimately arrested.

Sahvannah Nargi is charged with felony eluding, reckless driving and driving without a drivers license in Augusta County and Staunton.

In Waynesboro, Nargi is charged with hit-and-run.
