Stuarts Draft Woman Killed by Falling Tree
A woman in Stuarts Draft has lost her life after an oak tree fell on her Tuesday afternoon.

A woman in Stuarts Draft has lost her life after an oak tree fell on her Tuesday afternoon.
Augusta County Sheriff's deputies say the 60-year-old woman was cutting down the tree with her husband, but as the tree fell it hit another tree and then hit the woman in the head. The tree was about 30 feet tall, and one foot in diameter.
The identity of the woman has not yet been released by deputies.
The accident happened at a home on Howardsville Turnpike.
