The Shenandoah Rescue Squad, in the town of Shenandoah, could lose its license for not following code.
Page County Attorney George Shanks says the rescue squad is not in compliance with county code, and the squad must enter into an agreement to get in compliance by Friday.
The issue revolves around billing for ambulance services.
Shanks says, if the squad does not come into compliance, it could affect the continuation of its license, which expires at the end of the month.

those of you posting negative comments on the situation, should know what your talking about before speaking. being a member of both organizations and knowing the situation is half the battle. the county wants to run everyone and everything. the other two rescue squads hearing from members of those are not happy with the agreement either, but what choice are you left when the county sais you will be shut down if you dont sign. 45,000 a year the county gives us wont touch the operating expensis needed to provide the service our organizations provide. when you have to work for the money such as fundraisers and donations to provide these services and the county wants to step in after providing one paid man at your station for 8 hours weekly and 12 on the weekend and think they can control what you do and how you do it is ridiculous. the corrupt county and its politics are out of control...those of you in question i invite you to put in an application in our organizations. see the truth
